Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Marine Parts Exchange, you agree to be bound by these terms and any policies referenced herein. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the service. You represent that you have authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of your business.
Eligibility and membership
Membership is limited to businesses actively engaged in marine salvage, dismantling, rebuild and repower operations, used boat sales or related marine parts trade. We may require verification of your business credentials. We reserve the right to deny or terminate membership for any reason, including violations of these terms or community standards.
Fees and payment
Access to certain features of the service may require a subscription fee. All fees are billed through our payment provider on a recurring basis as disclosed during sign‑up. By subscribing you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method according to the plan you selected. Prices are subject to change with notice.
Cancellations and termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time in your account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle; refunds are not provided for partially used periods. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these terms or engage in fraudulent or abusive behaviour.
Use of the service
You are solely responsible for the content you post and for complying with all applicable laws and regulations. Do not post defamatory, misleading or illegal material. Marine Parts Exchange does not act as an agent in any transactions between members and is not liable for the quality, legality or safety of parts offered or requested.
Limitation of liability
Marine Parts Exchange is provided on an "as‑is" and "as‑available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties and shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusions of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.
Modifications to the terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to the service or applicable law. We will post the revised terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date below. By continuing to use the service after changes become effective, you agree to the revised terms.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Marine Parts Exchange is headquartered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in that jurisdiction.
